A Family Tradition

We are a family of perfumers from Grasse, the world capital of perfumery. In the 1660s, Maitre Parfumeur Jean Chabert gained acclaim in Lyon for his perfumed essences, perfumed waxes, and fragrant soaps... A distant ancestor? It is known that our family name originated in Lyon with Franco-Germanic roots. 

Eager to share our passion with perfume aficionados, we founded Parfums 06130 in 2003 naming our perfume house after the postal code of Grasse -our family's hometown and the cradle of our lineage. We envision each perfume as an entity of its own, multidimensional and free from the shadow cast by an individual parfumeur créateur. Each 06130 fragrance is composed by several perfumers in symbiosis, under the technical direction of Master Perfumer Jacques Chabert. The outcome is a collection of fragrances born of a family effort. 

Philosophy

We trust our clientele to recognize and appreciate our fragrances’ quality without a typical olfactory pyramid, which afflicts perception with prejudgement. By abstaining to dissect our creations publicly, we offer a unique opportunity: you can experience perfume as we believe it ought: blindly and objectively. We invite perfume lovers to close their eyes and sharpen their perception, to experience each fragrance with a clear mind, devoid of preconceptions: to feel its quality and let it uniquely touch their hearts, recall magical moments and create new wonderful memories.
